We are pleased to inform that the ICCE/GCCC Commission decided to extend the validity of ICAP credentials for 3 years instead of 2 years for the new renewals. Further, the cost of ICAP/ RC renewal fee for future renewals was lowered from USD 100 to USD 50.

In this connection, we would like to inform that your current ICAP credential was expired on 12 October 2018 and kindly request you to take necessary action to renew your credentials.

If you are willing to renew your credentials, please fill the attached renewal form and forward us together with the required supporting documents.  Below are the supporting documents to be submitted to renew your credential.

1. 1. Copies of your certificates of training attended during last two years
2. 2. Letter from supervisor certifying clinical/ counselling experience
3. 3. Current detailed CV with your professional work history and relevant training conducted as a trainer during last two years
4. 4. Copy of your ICAP credentialing certificate
5. 5. Copy of Bank Transfer Slip of the renewal fee of USD 50 (Only the professionals working in the SUD field with clinical/ counseling experience have to pay the renewal fee)

For your information, clinical/ counselling work experience in SUD field is compulsory to renew your ICAP Treatment Practitioner credential. Therefore, if you are currently working in SUD field with clinical/ counselling experience, kindly pay the renewal fee of USD 50 excluding bank charges and attach a copy of bank transfer slip with the above documents to apply for the renewal of ICAP credentials. Our bank details are attached herewith.

However, if you are an ICAP credential holder who is not currently working in the SUD filed with clinical/ counselling experience or not willing to renew your credentials, please just fill the attached renewal application and submit us with your relevant supporting documents. GCCC will issue a certificate which is not required to renew in future.

The professionals who are not currently working in the SUD field with clinical/ counselling background are strongly advised not to transfer the renewal fee since we are unable to renew your ICAP credential if you are not currently in the field with required work experience. In case, if a professional in this category transferred the renewal fee, GCCC will not take any action to return the fee.  Anyway, if you got an opportunity to obtain clinical/ counselling experience in SUD field in future, you can contact us to obtain your credentialing certificate by making the renewal payment.

Further, the holders of above mentioned two types of certificates are eligible to be an UTC trainer, but only the holders of ICAP Treatment Practitioner Credentialing certificates are considered as ICAP Credentialed Professionals.
